Egyptian comedy Matloob A'elan has maintained its strong performance at the Saudi Arabian box office, holding the top position for a third consecutive week with takings of US$640,828.63.
The film's continued lead highlights its staying power in a competitive theatrical market, where a mix of horror, thriller and action titles is attracting audiences.
The horror-thriller Whalefall took second, earning US$507,323, while Clayface made an impressive third-place debut with US$480,000. The thriller Verity took fourth with US$453,920.
Jailer 2 secured fifth place with US$252,406.38, ahead of Resident Evil, which generated US$214,517.39. Other Mommy secured seventh place with US$202,053.33, followed by Heart of the Beast in eighth place with US$181,194.30.
Rounding out the top ten were Street Fighter, with US$118,793.61, and Train to Busan, which earned US$84,509.28 during a special re-release marking the tenth anniversary of its original launch.

For distributors, exhibitors and film industry professionals, the latest rankings offer a snapshot of audience demand across established franchises, new releases and returning titles. While Matloob A'elan continues to demonstrate sustained box-office appeal, Clayface's opening performance and the anniversary re-release of Train to Busan show how both fresh content and catalogue titles can boost theatrical revenues.
