Moroccan cinemas are preparing to welcome Warith Al-Asrar (Heir of Secrets), director Mohamed Nzeif's latest film, with a national release scheduled for 4 November 2026.
The film features Younes Bouab, Nadia Kounda, Mounia Lamkimel, Nisrine Erradi and Mehdi El Ouatibi in leading roles.
The protagonist is Farid, a successful plastic surgeon who gets into trouble after receiving a message from Montreal, Canada. This message reveals family secrets about his father that were kept quiet.
Blending personal drama with mystery, Warith Al-Asrar explores identity, family relationships, lineage, and memory. Its narrative examines how hidden truths can reshape an individual's understanding of where they come from and the people closest to them.
For Morocco's film industry, the release adds another locally produced title to the country's cinema offering, bringing a story rooted in family history and personal discovery to domestic audiences.
